Giselle, luv, would you mind accompanying meself down to visit our dear friend Loki? He asked me if I'd allow you to come sing with him and I thought that would be a lovely idea. With my wardenly-presence there to chaperon, of course.
So... not all that thrilled by that port. Really not my style. Must say though, it's good to have all me hair back where it belongs.
Good to be back. Here's to hoping and wishing we nip on over to a more interesting port next time. The ladies in this past one just weren't the sort I'm accustomed to when I get some time away from me ship. Though I must say, the one lovely lady I did make discrete suggestions to responded in a more familiar manner. I suppose a slap to a gent's face carries a universal meaning with it.
[Private to Loki]
So... seems you and I are in need of a talk. I have an obligation to do some heavy finger waggling as well as some serious tsk tsk-ing.

[What with all the color popping up, Jack found it quite easy to find a method to start funneling in vast amounts of liquor. Everything from beer to moonshine to his personal favorite, rum. He's set up a makeshift "bar" in his basement, charging but a small fee to anyone (yes, anyone, including those under the drinking age) who cares to come in and enjoy a good drink.]
[Fliers have been placed up here and there in not-so-obvious-but-still-visible areas to advertise when and where to show up.]
[Jack stands beside the open cellar doors, drinking from a flask (another item he's selling for those that want to be discrete). Music is heard coming up the stairs - rock and roll music.]
[ooc: Open to all. Action spam is go!]

So apparently there was some manner of important official-like papers delivered to me cabin to fill out accordingly. Unfortunately, I believe those were the papers I reached for a bit back to mop up a bit of a spill. I've learned that this bottled variety of rum doesn't stack nearly as well as barrels, and that said bottles have a tendency to get underfoot, causing one to trip rather fantastically and travel towards the nearest wall at impressive speeds.
Also, glass seems to be a terrible fragile substance for one to keep such a precious commodity in. Rum everywhere. A tragedy, I know. And also, said paperwork was quite ineffectual at cleaning it all up as it became soppy and then ceased to actually accomplish anything other than spreading the puddle about.
I suppose the point of all this is... I've no paperwork to fill out any longer. Just as well as I've honestly not run into this inmate of mine. I can't exactly properly assess this Loki fellow until we've had ourselves a chat. Perhaps over a drink or two. Drinks of the non-rolling-and-shattering sort.

Not all that used to sailing about with the more feminine variety of our species. Granted I've made exceptions in the past and I've never given too much stock in the sort of superstitions that can't snake up out of the sea and drag a man down, but it's still a lingering sort of feeling that, given the uneventful quiet this ship offers, has time to prod and poke at an old salt like meself.
Captain Morgan seems the type of lass I could tolerate in the long-term sense. Not to mention I found her name on some of those bottles of rum Inicked borrowed from the galley which leaves me more inclined to enjoy her company. I believe it's the more infamous Captain Morgan depicted on the label however, lest some artistically abled person has done this fair Captain Morgan a grave injustice in her portrayal.
I'm also much more fond of this Giselle than that one I've been acquainted with before back in Tortuga. Easier on the eyes and certainly easier on the face. She seems the peaceful sort and not the kind to resort to violence over trifles. Also, she seems quite bright and filled with several astute observations and accurate assumptions as to my characterization.
I've yet to meet the entirety of the lady folk aboard, but I do hear there's a good number of them. One can only hope they'll be as pleasant company as those I've met thus far.
That's not to say I haven't enjoyed my company with the rest of the ship. Tony makes for an excellent drinking companion, and I'd wager that Mr. Crane will likely benefit from further familiarity with myself.

I've decided I'm not fond of this long underwear. Though I now have a large stockpile of rum in me quarters. Enough to last me a good few days, likely. I suppose I'm meant to apologize to those I unfortunately threatened in the process, though no harm no foul, am I right lads?
Rather hope that doesn't happen again. I gather these floods are a bit of a chronic nuisance aboard this ship, but not always the way it played out this go. I'm remarkably fine with that prospect. Those of you unfamiliar with the famous Captain Jack Sparrow may take comfort in the fact that on your average day I'm hardly that silly.

[Ninja!Jack is making his way stealthily around the ship, staying in the shadows, hiding in the rafters, and knicking rum from the dining hall. He is "silent as the grave" and not in the mood for chit-chat, but those who care to spot him are free to do so in this post.]
I suppose this arrangement isn't half as unpleasant as I first assumed. At least I'm still at sea, albeit stuck on a ship that's quite a far cry from the Pearl, and I've the freedom to roam as I please about the decks. And all the rum a gentleman such as myself can drink! Though I've been much advised by the dear Admiral to try and stay sturdy and sober enough to function fairly regularly, else those privileges may vanish rather rapidly.
I hope we make port soon. I've other thirsts to be quenched and I'd rather do so somewhere when I feel a bit less watched. Unless of course the one doing the watching is a pretty little thing wearing nothing but an expectant smile. Yes, yes, I've heard the lot of you've just come from a less than pleasurable experience at your last port, but I've not had such a vivid deterrent for meself yet.
Now then... who's gone and left these unfamiliar long black undergarments here for me? With some sort of headwrap and I believe that's a katana? I could be mistaken. Don't spend much time in the Pacific these days, but it seems a mite familiar...
[Jack will be answering the ultimate question this Halloween: pirates or ninjas?]
